Like many family companies in Northern Finland, we come from humble beginnings. Founded in 1984, RovaMatto has been ahead of its time for nearly four decades. We saw the obvious problem of dirt and the great outdoors making its way inside all too easily. Weather in the Nordics can be pretty absurd and with the changing of the seasons also comes a host of dirt and grime that gets tracked indoors on our shoes.

We set out to create practical and attractive products for our customers that allowed their spaces to remain cleaner longer by developing and producing carpet and matting solutions that effectively combat excess dirt from entering restaurants, hotels, office buildings, housing complexes, retailers and more. Over the years, we have expanded our product range so as to provide complete solutions for properties of all shapes and sizes, and we are proud to finally be bringing our exquisite product line to more customers than ever before.

We manufacture most of our entrance mats in our own factory in Rovaniemi, and also import various textile mats and other floor coverings for a wide range of uses.
